Australia’s Surf Lakes Appoints Scallywag Entertainments as Sales Agent

Hong Kong – 2020 – Today, Scallywag Entertainments Limited announced its appointment by Surf Lakes as Sales Agent for Asia with a focus on the Greater China region.

Scallywag Entertainment CEO Oliver Cully says ‘We are ecstatic about this opportunity to work with Surf Lakes in one of the fastest developing markets in the World – the surf park sector. It’s our belief that surf parks will become a key part of many communities in the future including in China where there is a moderate but fast-growing surfing community’.

With surfing part of the Olympics for the first time ever in Tokyo, Oliver also expects strong support from both the Central and Local Governments in China; ‘China has embraced many new sports in recent years and the Olympic connection is one more reason to be optimistic about the take up of surfing in China. If we look at skiing for instance, in 2000 there were only 50 resorts whereas there are nearly 800 today’.
